It has been an exciting week here at Survivor Corps!

Two of our staffers received public recognition for their work. And hey, when you work waaaay more hours than you should each week, who doesn’t like a pat on the back?

Scott Quilty, US Program Manager, received the Unsung Hero Award at the 2009 Conference of the National Coalition for Homeless Veterans.

Robert Mugisha, Africa Program Associate, was named Ambassador for Peace for the Universal Peace Federation.

Both men have seen war with their own eyes and now fight to break the cycle of violence.
